Activities Offered Locally
These include golf (two courses within a half hour drive), tennis, water sports, scuba diving (in a PADI registered school), walking and horse-riding. There is a bustling market every Tuesday and the famous Nerja caves are well worth a visit. Further afield are Granada, Ronda and Málaga.
Beaches
Nerja has five or six beaches, the largest of which is Burriana. You might also like to explore the quieter coves and beaches east of the town heading out towards Almuñecar.
